This casually elegant riverfront retreat is the perfect basecamp for exploring all that Napa Valley has to offer.

The Setting

Nestled upon the Napa River rippling its way through a nature preserve, River Terrace Inn is the perfect blend of urban hospitality and serene oasis. Pamper yourself with casual elegance designed for Kind Travelers seeking refuge and relaxation in the hub of Napa Valley’s bountiful wine and culinary indulgences. Not to mention, they’ll pamper your furry friend to the nines, too, with some of the most pet-friendly amenities we’ve seen yet. All this, and just a short walk from charming downtown Napa’s best tasting rooms, wine bars, fine dining, and shopping. Don’t forget fellow Kind Travelers, bring your reusable water bottle to refill with daily infused water in the lobby.

Sleep and Sanctuary

The newly-renovated rooms and suites at River Terrace Inn are divided into categories of Village Rooms, with Napa village views at your disposal, Riverside Rooms with views of the verdant Oxbow Preserve and Napa River, and Luxury Rooms that are, well, simply luxurious with fireplaces. All feature Napa Dream beds, perfect for crashing after a long day of hiking and wine tasting and luxurious marble baths. Rest easy in these Clean the World Partner Program rooms featuring bath products exclusively developed for the Noble brand free of sulfates, parabens and 100% cruelty-free. Plus, your four-legged friends are welcome to cozy up with you featuring a Napa Paws program with pet beds and their own exercise areas.

Eat. Pray. Eat.

ALBA Restaurant’s award-winning executive chef pays homage to Napa foodways, devoted to the combination of superior cooking, great mixology, and good times. All-day menus highlight shareable, seasonal small plates to pair with wine and craft cocktails, featuring Napa Valley local products and natural ingredients. In addition, meats are sourced from Niman Ranch, part of Global Animal Partnerships and seafood is sourced from Monterey Bay and Seafood Watch recommended. In-room dining is also available.

The Art of De-stressing

Grab a glass of Napa vino and take relaxation to the next level with an in-room deep-tissue or aromatherapy massage. Want to take it to the next, next level? Then move out of your room (bring the wine) and head down to the river for a riverside massage.

The 24-hour fitness center will keep that bod tip top with a slew of cardio and elliptical equipment, as well as medicine balls, free weights, kettlebells and the like. For the outdoorsy fit fam, drop by the front desk and register to borrow one of the hotel’s custom cruiser bicycles to explore the local Napa area. Roll down the Napa bike & running path at the back of the hotel or wind through local shopping and dining areas.
