ABOUT

The Setting

Situated on the serene end of Santa Monica’s bustling boulevard, Ocean Avenue is Le Merigot. This pristine beachside beauty brings a little four star AAA Diamond and Forbes-style luxury to the neighborhood. And what a neighborhood it is, you’re just a stone’s throw from the famed Santa Monica Pier and all its family-friendly attractions, the Third Street Promenade shopping and dining district, and the magnificent stretch of Santa Monica Beach known as Ocean Park. Don’t judge this newly renovated beauty on her looks alone; there’s a good heart under all that shiny veneer. Le Merigot continually participates in local food drives for the Westside Food Bank and is home to a bee hive that will produce up to 20 lbs of local honey.

Sleep and Sanctuary

Your beachside home away from home offers you the comfort of 175 guest rooms and suites ranging from Classic King types to Ocean View Suites with expansive balconies. All rooms are newly renovated and oozing with beachy class and sophistication. Celebrate your Santa Monica stay amongst large marble bathrooms, ocean views, mini-fridges (perfect for storing some bubbly), and super comfy pillow-top beds. We love the little Kind touches, too, like individual thermostats, efficient fixtures and (how low can you go) flow faucets that still pack a punch. Your four-legged pals are also welcome to enjoy the party.

HOW TO GET THERE

By Plane

9 mi from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) (Taxi approx: $50-$55)

By Train

Santa Monica is served by the Santa Monica Metro E Line, which provides an easy way to visit multiple attractions during your stay in Santa Monica, from the Pier to downtown Los Angeles. The LA Metro stop in Downtown Santa Monica is at 402 Colorado Ave, half a mile from Le Merigot.

By Bus/Metro

Le Merigot can be reached by taking the Green Line Shuttle (G shuttle) from the International terminal to the MetroRail/Lax Flyaway station at Aviation Blvd. Then taking the R3 Big Blue Bus https://www.bigbluebus.com/Routes-and-Schedules/ towards Downtown Santa Monica. Exiting at 4th Nb & Pico Fs. It’s about a 6 min walk from the stop. The whole trip should take about an hour. Expect to pay $11.

By Automobile

Renting a car will be your best and most efficient bet for exploring Los Angeles and its communities. Every major car rental agency serves LAX. Upon exiting LAX via Sepulveda Blvd, take the 405 North. Continue to I-10 West to the 4th & 5th St exit in Santa Monica, exiting 5th. Exit 1A and take Olympic to Ocean Ave by turning left onto 4th St, right at the first cross street onto Olympic Dr, and then left onto Ocean Ave. The hotel will be on the right.
