ABOUT

The Setting

My how time flies; it’s been nearly 20 years since the Viceroy Hotel first opened its doors and created a chic new hotel stretch on Ocean Avenue in beachside Santa Monica. To keep up with the Joneses, the Viceroy has undergone a reimagining (or facelift since we’re in L.A.). Visitors can bask in an all-new poolside experience (so necessary in L.A.) featuring an expansive outdoor patio, two sparkling pools, open-air cabanas, a re-designed lounge, and a breathtaking new art collection.

More on that — Viceroy’s Canvas for Discovery initiative showcases original site-specific works created by innovative local artists, from painters to musicians and sculptors to photographers, whose works will inspire and enhance guest experiences. Add a new commitment to take care of employees and the Earth through a series of sustainability practices, and a new iconic era has begun.
