Diners on the gluten free/vegan tip will love the spiced butternut lentil curry with coconut cream, green beans, fresh coriander, green chili and steamed basmati. 
• The Grill Room - Under the culinary leadership of Executive Chef Kevin Joseph, The Grill Room delivers a sophisticated fine dining experience that blends classical continental cuisine with the bountiful produce and vibrant hospitality of Africa. We’d dive into the parmesan ravioli with truffle butter cream, shaved asparagus and watercress pesto. 
• Palm Court High Tea -  Beneath waving fans and crystal chandeliers – imported from England, they once hung in the Savoy Hotel – The Palm Court is the memorable setting for leisurely High Tea and small bites at The Oyster Box. High Tea in The Palm Court is hosted daily, and both resident guests and visitors are welcome. 
• The Chef’s Table - Enjoy a glimpse of the inner-workings of a professional kitchen, with a front-row seat at The Chef’s Table where Executive Chef Kevin Joseph and his talented brigade of chefs create an extraordinary dining experience for small groups of passionate food-lovers. Savor a meal to remember, you’ll begin with champagne and an amuse bouche, as the chefs around you set to work creating a five-course feast that celebrates the signature dishes of The Oyster Box.

Take the path to wellness, quite literally a few sandy steps from the Indian Ocean, at Oyster Box’s lush garden Spa. Breathe deeply in the Tranquillity Lounge stocked with herbal teas, music, books and plenty of space to meditate. Or ease away stress in the plunge pool before you reinvigorate both body and mind with bespoke body and facial treatments. We recommend, “Our Journey Through Africa.” This soul-reviving ritual combines unique massage techniques and Himalayan salt crystals, African rungu and calabash. It eases away muscular aches and tension by improving circulation and stimulation.

The modern fitness center in the Spa complex is open 24-hours a day and is fully equipped with everything you need to stay on your fit game. Private yoga or pilates instructors can be arranged on request, and exercise DVDs are available through the hotel reception. The Oyster Box offers direct access to the Umhlanga promenade or outdoor exercise enthusiasts, a three-kilometer coastal walkway ideal for running and walking.
