The Clean Wave is a community-driven environmental nonprofit based in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, dedicated to protecting “la pura vida” through conservation, education, and sustainable practices. What began as grassroots beach clean-ups has grown into a broader movement focused on waste reduction, community engagement, and ecosystem restoration. Achieve Incentives & Meetings supports The Clean Wave’s Coral Reef Rehabilitation Project, helping to restore marine biodiversity and protect the coastal environments vital to both local communities and the destination’s future.
Na’atik Language and Culture Institute is a community-based nonprofit in Quintana Roo, Mexico, dedicated to improving opportunities for Mayan communities through education and cultural exchange. Named after the Maya expression “To’on na’atik”—meaning “We’re understanding each other”—Na’atik provides accessible English language education, scholarships, and social support to help local youth pursue higher education and meaningful careers. Through Achieve Incentives & Meetings’ support of the Library & Intercultural Hub, Na’atik is expanding access to learning resources and creating a space that fosters connection, understanding, and long-term community empowerment.
Dominican Joe Kids is a nonprofit based in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic, dedicated to expanding access to quality education for children impacted by poverty. Founded on the belief that education is the foundation for opportunity, the organization provides students with strong academic support, daily nourishment, and pathways to higher education and vocational training. Through its holistic approach, the foundation empowers youth to break the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
