Charity MIssion

 The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) educates people and saves wildlife through state-of-the-art veterinary care, research, education, and conservation medicine. CROW champions the “One World, One Health” philosophy — a global effort to improve the health of animals, humans, and the environment through a deeper understanding of wildlife medicine.

 

Why is it important?

CROW has served the wildlife of Southwest Florida for nearly 50 years. Each year, they treat over 5,000 patients across 200+ species of native and migratory wildlife. As one of the nation’s leading wildlife rehab facilities, CROW plays a critical role in biodiversity protection and environmental stewardship.

How do they do it?

CROW operates a fully equipped 4,800-square-foot wildlife hospital. The clinic delivers expert medical and rehabilitative care to sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife, always aiming for a safe return to their natural habitats.

In addition to their hospital, CROW advances the field of conservation medicine through research and education. They also rely heavily on the contributions of more than 200 volunteers worldwide each year who dedicate thousands of hours to wildlife care and rescue efforts. CROW is funded entirely through public donations, foundational grants, the Visitor Education Center, and fundraising events.
