ABOUT

The Setting

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is the sole resort on the private island of Félicité, about 30 nautical miles from the main island of Mahé, in the Seychelles. The resort itself takes up only one-third of the island’s land mass, leaving screen-saver-worthy white-sand beaches, lush jungle and craggy topography to solitude. Being such an ecological marvel, Six Senses does everything to maintain the island’s integrity. Some of their social and environmental programs include; growing their own food and developing an approach to permaculture and composting, working on re-introducing indigenous species and plants through forest restoration, harvesting and planting coral in Félicité's Marine Protected Area, to helping turtle hatchlings find their way to the sea. Félicité and surrounding islands, La Dugue and Praslin, will be your playground to hike and discover National Parks, enjoy watersports and beach activities, and take part in Six Senses’ countless wellness programs. There’s quite literally, something for every Kind Traveler. Just remember to “leave only footprints and take only memories.”

Sleep and Sanctuary

If stepping off the helicopter or speedboat to the tropical island opulence of Six Senses Zil Pasyon doesn’t make you feel like royalty, just wait until you see your accommodations.  Six Senses presents 28 one-bedroom and two-bedroom pool villas, plus three private residences. Each villa is designed to be advantageous of seclusion, incorporating surrounding tropical foliage and magnificent Indian Ocean vistas. Your majesty will also most certainly enjoy deep slumber on Naturalmat organic mattresses, breakfast in bed, Organic Pharmacy bath amenities, deep soaking tubs, rain showers and electronic toilets, yoga mats for your external deck, Biological LED bed lamps, natural wood floors, private infinity-edge pools and your own GEM (Guest Experience Maker) butler service.

Eat. Pray. Eat.

The six distinct eateries and drinkeries, idyllically placed throughout the property, are a reflection of the varied cultures that have stepped foot onto the shores of the Seychelles over the past centuries. African, Chinese, French, English and Indian tastes combine perfectly with Seychelle’s Creole influence to create traditional favorites using only the freshest and responsibly sourced ingredients garnished with island flare. We’ll naturally gravitate to Ocean Kitchen, a no-meat restaurant inspired by Creole cuisine using herbs and veggies from local island gardens. Tossed in for good measure, you can relish in unique dining experiences that only Six Senses can provide, like traditional French aperitif hours and a game of pétanque, a sommelier-led wine cellar dinner, a private romantic sundowner snug into beanbags on Top Hill, or channel your inner pirate with a rum tasting at Lakanbiz bar, enjoying home-infused rums, which use Takamaka white rum, distilled in Mahé.
