The Setting

Visitors to the resort city of Palm Springs are welcomed with palm trees at every turn and pink sunsets and sunrises reflecting off the neighboring San Jacinto Mountains. Until Kimpton’s The Rowan Hotel recently made the scene, most of that beauty was enjoyed by looking up. This seven-story glass and steel marvel towers over Downtown Palm Springs offering spectacular views from all directions.

The highlighted is a rooftop pool where desert sunsets are sipped in with crisp cocktails. Not to mention, Kimpton Rowan’s downtown location places you perfectly in the center of the art scene (steps away from the Palm Springs Art Museum), the hip retro Uptown Design District, rugged trail hiking, dining and buzzy nightlife.

Best of all, Kimpton Rowan is proud to do its part to care for our environment and reduce its carbon footprint as a green hotel in Palm Springs. From recycled materials to high-efficiency cooling systems and a preference for clean-air vehicles, Kimpton Rowan has made sustainability a priority.

Sleep and Sanctuary

Find a desert oasis in the sky in Kimpton Rowan’s 153 light-filled guest rooms and suites. Each of these cool and calming retreats boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, making for fabulous views stretching over glimmering Downtown Palm Springs or the majestic San Jacinto Mountains.

Choose essential view rooms with one King or Two Queen comfy beds, or spacious suites adorned with all the trimmings like living areas, deep soaking tubs and private balconies (even a pool table in the Arlo Suite). Bring your furry companion with you, as Kimpton Rowan’s pet-friendly accommodations break the mold and require no deposits or fees. Also enjoy complimentary access to Wag! Premium during your stay.

Eat. Pray. Eat.

Dining Kindly is no longer a scavenger hunt in Palm Springs, Kimpton Rowan has you covered. Dine seven stories above swaying palms at the seasonal 4 Saints restaurant, where modern American fare is guided by the bounty of California's ranches, farms, vines, and coastlines. Small and large plates showcase pristine seafood, heirloom local vegetables, and prime meats, and the grill brings the heat of the desert right to your table.

Sunny Mediterranean café fare is found at Juniper Table. This fast and friendly resto is the ultimate alfresco haven where Mediterranean-inspired shareable snacks, salads, sandwiches, as well as heartier entrees can be found—but the constant emphasis remains on the local, seasonal, organic ingredients.

This is also your morning stop for grab and go bites and coffees and teas of the artisanal sort. If you’re thirsty (in P.S. believe us, you will be), The Window Bar is a modern yet timeless setting in the hotel’s living room, and the perfect place for laid-back meetings, pre-dinner drinks and satisfying nightcaps. Heading to the roof, are we? The poolside High Bar is an expansive oasis serving up classic and retro cocktails, craft beers from Coachella Valley and crisp wines.
