ABOUT
The Setting
Perched high above the Caribbean Sea, nestled into 26 acres of lush rainforest on Saint Lucia’s picturesque west coast, is Stonefield Villa Resort. And when we say picturesque, we mean landmark and Instagram superstar Petit Piton is quite literally just outside your terrace doors. Just down the hillside lie pristine, sugary sand beaches and the charming town of Soufriere is a stone’s throw away. With its breathtaking views and connection to nature, Stonefield Resort is truly a Kind Traveler’s paradise (sorry, only Kind Travelers over 17).
Sleep and Sanctuary
Stonefield’s 17 spacious villas are awash with plantation charm and romance. Choose from one, two, three or five bedroom villas all with extravagant private pools, outdoor garden showers, locally handcrafted furnishings and private terraces with some of the prettiest views on Mother Earth. Find modern touches like free Wi-Fi, kitchenettes and full kitchens in some villas.
Eat. Pray. Eat.
Your wining and dining epicenter of the resort is the Mango Tree Restaurant. This Trip Advisor Hall of Fame recipient (five years running) only uses fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables grown on the resort’s property. The culinary team here prepares cuisine rooted in local tradition but made for modern tastes with a rotating seasonal menu. The scene is lively in the adjoining Bamboo Bar, too, with nightly entertainment, cocktail parties, limbo dancing and why not, the occasional fire eater.
