ABOUT
The Setting
If you’ve noticed an abundance of Kind properties dappled on Washington’s culturally rich and beautiful Long Beach Peninsula, that is all thanks to Adrift Hospitality. The female-owned and operated Social Purpose Corporation celebrates a company ethos of diversity, community, creativity, and sustainability. So without further adieu, we’d like to introduce the Shelburne Hotel. Built in 1896, it is the longest continuously operating hotel in Washington State.
During its long life, the Shelburne has been a center of the Long Beach Peninsula community, as well as providing a sanctuary to artists, intellectuals and weary travelers the world over. These days, under Adrift’s guidance, you will find a unique and inviting space to unwind and relax, grab a locally-crafted coffee by the fire, nosh on authentic heavenly fare (or hand-crafted heavenly cocktails) in the Shelburne Pub, and explore the coastal riches of the peninsula.
