Community Impact
Rest, relax and improve at this eco-friendly lodge near the banks of the Deschutes River in Central Oregon.
COVID-19 Safety Guidelines
The Setting
Hugging the Deschutes River is the charming little enclave of Redmond, Oregon. Here you’ll find SCP Hotel Redmond masterly transformed from a four-story historic gem into an environmentally-friendly modern vision of the Central Oregon aesthetic and lifestyle. The SCP philosophy panders to those who value personal wellness, social good and the environment. In doing so, they’ve created a property featuring a rooftop plant-forward eating and drinking space within a native garden, calm quarters with sustainable design, and communal spaces for socializing and collaborating, all while focusing on being better stewards of the environment. They’ll even plant a tree for you when you check-in.
Sleep and Sanctuary
Holistic hospitality and clean lodging are the aim for SCP Redmond’s 49 rooms and suites. All feature SCP's trademark mindful, minimalist style, including the use of sustainable and regionally-sourced materials. Swath yourself with Furthur Earth-friendly bath products and heavenly soy-based beds surrounded by warm woods, crisp whites, and Earth tones, bringing the natural beauty of Oregon inside. Another cool feature is SCP’s calm and ergonomically designed, “Peaceful Rooms,” inspiring rest and relaxation with minimal electronics. Positive energy included at no extra charge.
Eat. Pray. Eat.
The Rooftop (the only rooftop dining in Redmond) is an intimate indoor/outdoor space nestled in the serene native garden boasting some gorgeous panoramic views of the nearby Cascade Range. You’ll find a locally inspired small-plate menu of plant-forward treats and hand-crafted cocktails with spices, fruits and herbs foraged from just steps away in the garden. For some locally sourced bites and nutritious smoothies, Provisions Market on the ground floor is your go-to source.
The Rooftop - Featuring proteins and veggies from sustainable local ranches, farms, and fisheries, find some mouth-watering bites like the pulled BBQ tostada with pulled jackfruit black beans, squash, avocado and house-made hot sauce. Open Wednesday - Sunday from 3pm - 9pm.
Provisions Market - Stay stocked up and nourished at this one stop shop catchall with breakfast options, robust fresh salads and wraps like the raised garden wrap with chickpeas, wild rice, heirloom tomato, Gorilla green sprouts and herb pistou. Open everyday from 7am- 4pm. Call down for room delivery, too.
The Art of De-stressing
SCP Fit is your 24/7 fitness hub located in the hotel’s Studio. Here, you’ll find a flexible space for scheduled yoga, Peloton bikes, and much more to keep you SCP fit. Add in for good measure, meditation areas for zen tranquility, and running and hiking paths nearby.
Need to relax and maybe pound out the final chapters of that novel in peace? You’ll find that SCP Commons is a communal space as conducive to business as it is to pleasure. Find free Wi-Fi, ample workspaces and free fair trade local coffee in a wildly eco-friendly environment.
