Arlo takes over a Miami Beach icon with an upbeat style and Kind sensibility. Meet the new Nautilus.

The Setting

One of Miami’s original art deco icons is the Nautilus, designed by the father of Miami modern architecture, Morris Lapidus, with a beachside aesthetic that helped shaped the town’s unique style. Now helmed by Kind fave brand Arlo, a new era of this ol’ beach babe’s history is being re-shaped with an upbeat urban perspective and wellness factors. As Miami’s art and culinary scene flourishes, Nautilus by Arlo’s timing couldn’t be more perfect.

Sleep and Sanctuary

Nautilus’ 250 guest rooms offer prime access to the best of South Beach, paired with thoughtful, modern amenities for savvy Kind Travelers. Choose from an array of spacious accommodations, including the signature Oceanfront Rooms, Suites and the Nautilus Penthouse. Live the high (and Kind) life in these dwellings. We’re talking vintage minibar chests stocked with libations and healthy snacks, Nespresso coffee machines, Luton energy-saving lighting systems throughout, walk-in rainfall showers, bedside USB chargers, Bluetooth docking speakers and free Wi-Fi.

Eat. Pray. Eat.

From light bites poolside to multi-course feasts, Nautilus can meet your every craving. Locals and guests can be found mingling from morning, noon, and night at Nautilus Cabana Club where Chef Richard Fuentes focuses on Mediterranean-inspired dishes with a fresh local Floridian twist. The menu adapts to nourish your daily chill sessions too, be that on the pool deck, the Backyard in a bohemian hammock, in a cabana or lounging on the beach. Those on-the-go will find Nauti Grind Bodega in the front lobby has their every need. Speaking of the lobby, the handsome Lobby Bar is the place to see and be seen well into the hot Miami nights.

Nautilus Cabana Club - This bustling all-day eatery expands to a sprawling al fresco dining patio. Enjoy fresh style crowd-pleasers like a wild mushroom risotto with truffle oil. Weekend brunches are always poppin’ too. Check out the special poolside menu featuring accessible bites like a beet salad or hummus dip. Pair that with a poolside 'Frose.'

Nauti Grind Bodega - Whether you’re coming or going, this well-stocked 24/7 pantry has you covered should you crave that caffeine kick or a pressed juice. Try an Earl Grey supreme tea with a locally-made empanada for some Miami flavor.

In-Room Dining is offered 24- hours Tues-Sat and 7AM-11PM Sundays and Mondays.

The Art of De-stressing

When you’re perched on the pristine Atlantic Ocean in Miami Beach of all places, it makes sense to bring the spa to you (assuming by now you're poolside in a cabana). Nautilus’ Spa Services offers you that additional relaxation and inner harmony whether in a cabana or in the privacy of your room. Services draw from the wellness and ritualistic-rich region of the Indo-Pacific, enhanced with Eminence botanical skin case collections. The Nautilus treatment with a jojoba oil enriched with sea algaeand green tea trickled onto the skin with a seashell vessel as you're massaged with heated lava shells, is a great place to start.

Nautilus Hotel features a 1,890-square-foot heated saltwater pool, complete with an underwater sound system and luxurious poolside lounges and cabanas. Or, meander down the picturesque bamboo-lined path to your private entrance to South Beach and hop on a lounger and read for the day, fine by us.

Other de-stressers to munch on; there is a 24-hour gym on site and weekly fitness classes at your disposal. Complimentary Arlo bikes are yours for the taking. Bike or jog the famous four-mile boardwalk that stretches alongside the South Beach shoreline. Tough life, we know.
