Community Impact
Belizean culture, history, and adventure all converge at the luxurious Ka’ana Resort & Spa.
The Setting
Located deep within the tropical jungle of Western Belize, Ka’ana is the ultimate nature lover’s retreat in Central America, nestled on the edge of an ancient Maya city and with easy access to Maya archeological sites and national parks. Lose yourself in this jungle paradise where on any given day you can include unwinding at the spa, resetting on the yoga deck, soaking in the pool, and strolling the two-acre organic garden.
Sleep and Sanctuary
Ka’ana strives to create a comfortable yet stylish living space specifically designed for travelers with amenities like a minibar, complimentary Wi-Fi, twice daily housekeeping, complimentary ironing, and local eco-friendly cleaning products. Totalling 17 suites and villas on property, each is appointed with a private entrance and outdoor sitting area adjacent to peaceful views of tropical greenery. Consider yourself treated.
Eat. Pray. Eat.
Food is given a sacred honor amidst the thousand-year-old Maya culture of Ka’ana, evidenced by the many ingredients picked from the resort’s organic garden. Furthermore, the relationship with the environment is heavily emphasized at Ka’ana, as plant-based dining options are offered throughout the property.
- Featuring a farmhouse-inspired design and chef-driven menu, La Ceiba Restaurant serves local and international cuisines with a twist of Maya flavors. Breakfast is served as early as 6:15 am for the adventurous spirits, while dinner continues through 9:15 pm, characterized by local fare paired with international wine.
- Open daily from 11 am to midnight, The Wallace features inventive cocktails and classic wines to enjoy by the outside fire pit. Dig into local tapas, or “pedasitos,” for a pre-dinner snack, and enjoy the company of like-minded spirits under a jungle-casual atmosphere.
- For an intimate, destination dining experience, the staff at Ka’ana will accommodate guests at any unique location on property, from small bites at your private plunge pool to swirling a glass of red wine in the cozy wine cellar.
The Art of De-stressing
- Kick-start the day with vinyasa flows on the outdoor yoga deck, open daily from sunrise to sunset. Not a yogi? No problem Ka’ana offers experienced instructors to guide you through the practice with complimentary yoga classes at 7 am on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- Exercise the mind with Ka’ana’s cultural events, such as exploring traditional food at Maya Night, learning from the deeply-rooted community at History Night, or becoming an amateur mixologist during Destination Cocktail Night.
- Happy Hour is hosted daily at The Wallace Bar, serving the perfectly balanced cocktail to balance out a full day of adventures.
