Strike the perfect combination of business and pleasure with a California getaway to Hotel Angeleno.
The Setting
Conveniently located in Los Angeles (rare to say for just about any place in LA), the accessibility of Hotel Angeleno makes Southern California your proverbial oyster. Easily accessible to Beverly Hills, Venice, and Santa Monica, you may not be able to walk to these neighborhoods but you can take the hotel’s free shuttle service (operating within a three-mile radius) to go explore. The Hotel Angeleno makes for a refuge amidst the concrete playground of LA, sporting polished, autumn décor amidst a laidback atmosphere. Highways may be mere yards away, but you’ll feel worlds away at the Hotel Angeleno.
Sleep and Sanctuary
Though billed as a biz hotel, the Angeleno is the best of both worlds (business in the front, party in the back), with guestrooms and amenities that cater to every type of traveler. Guestrooms (totaling 209) are designed with comfort in mind, boasting rich, earthy tones with natural accents. Each room also sports its own private balcony, which isn’t exactly your everyday hotel amenity. What’s more, the balconies come with a killer view, so in addition to sunbathing at the pool in your bikini, you can sunbathe on your balcony in your PJs (because pajamas).
Eat. Pray. Eat.
Take everything you probably love about West Coast food and drinks, blend it all together, and what you get is a smorgasbord of culinary delight at the Hotel Angeleno. Happy hour, check. Complimentary daily wine hour, check. Penthouse restaurant, check. And all of that without mentioning how fresh and California-inspired all of the food is. Bonus points that the Angeleno’s penthouse restaurant, WEST, was selected for the OpenTable Diners’ Choice Award.
-
WEST Restaurant – Located on the 17th –floor penthouse level, this swanky, laidback restaurant has all of the perks of a night out, but for a night in from the comfort of your hotel. Those perks include unparalleled views of this sprawling city, from the high-rise buildings dotting the City of Angels skyline to the beautiful Pacific Coastline. Dishes feature farm-fresh, seasonal California flavors, like the Greek quinoa salad tossed with fresh lemon vinaigrette. Notify your server for vegan, vegetarian, or other specialty options, as Chef Laura Scollan works to create the perfect meal for you.
-
WEST Lounge – The east end of the WEST constitutes the hotel lounge. Flaunting a $5 daily happy hour (that’s not a misprint, it’s really just $5) from 4-7pm and live jazz music on Tuesday nights, the WEST Lounge is not your everyday hotel lounge. Best hotel happy hour ever?
-
Lobby Café – Appease your appetite in the Hotel Angeleno lobby, where you can enjoy a light meal with coffee to kick-start your day or grab a cold beer for your very own afternoon hoppy hour. The lobby also hosts a complimentary wine hour from 5:30-6:30pm each evening. As if life couldn’t get any better.
24hr room service available upon request.
The Art of De-stressing
Unwinding in summery seclusion in Los Angeles is easier said than done. But then enters the Angeleno. It’s summer year-round here, where the turquoise blue pool invites you for a relaxing dip, while the blanketing lounge chairs and cozy couches have “catnap” written all over them. Soak up the rays by day before cozying up to the outdoor fireplace by night on one of those breezy Los Angeles evenings. With an outdoor café to boot, it’ll be hard to leave when poolside food and drinks are at your beck and call.
But all of those food and drinks don’t have to go straight to your hips. Balance it all out at the state-of-the-art fitness center located next to the hotel pool. Put those muscles to work in the gym and then cool them off with a cannonball into the pool just outside. Massage therapy treatments are offered in-room upon request. Yes, please!
