The historically significant Galleria Park Hotel adds a Kind touch to San Francisco’s Financial District.

The Setting

The newly renovated Galleria Park Hotel is an urban haven nestled between San Francisco’s bustling Union Square and the financial district. Reinvigorating a 1911 art deco gem, Joie de Vivre has brought all the modern touches and chic style you’d expect from the brand, paired with amenities like a secret garden terrace with walking track and a (Napa adjacent) daily wine tasting for guests. What has Kind Traveler toasting this Forbes recommended hotel is their partnership with Project Homeless Connect and the Cozy Feet Project, where for every pair of socks purchased from the in-room honor bar, a pair is donated.

Sleep and Sanctuary

In each of the recently re-imagined guestrooms and suites, Kind Travelers will have the pleasure of sinking into signature Joie de Vivre bedding as they gaze out to enchanting city views or adorned contemporary artwork. Also relish in such amenities as fully stocked mini-bars with healthy treats, marble top work desks, super quick WiFi,  luxurious rain showers and eco-friendly Jonathan Adler bath products. If late sleepers miss the complimentary morning coffee and tea service, they’ll be delighted to find a Illy espresso machine in their room.

Eat. Pray. Eat.

Coming from the Joie de Vivre brand, it’s only apropos to find yourself immersed in Parisian flair in Gaspar’s Brasserie. Named “Best French Bistro” by San Francisco Magazine, this handsome boîte offers approachable French classics with Northern California flourishes as well as handcrafted cocktails. Also, don’t forget about daily social and sipping hour from 4-6 pm.

  • Gaspar’s Brasserie - Slip into a sexy, dimly lit booth amid vintage chandeliers and sip your Cote du Rhone as you savor the rice rissoto. A fromage et fruit should follow quite nicely… as will another Cote du Rhone if you insist.
  • Also, awake with a complimentary coffee and tea service and don’t hesitate to ask for a daily room service menu.
The Art of De-stressing

Since we’re on the topic of de-stressing, Galleria Park Hotel has no traditional spa on property, but that doesn’t mean your relaxation is being overlooked. The hotel’s secret Park Terrace is designed for just that. Find yourself in an urban garden with walking tracks for your strolling or jogging pleasure.

The Galleria Park’s fitness studio is open daily until 9pm. Here you’ll find an elliptical, treadmill, stationary bikes, free weights and resistance machine. And in-room fitness kits are provided upon request. Should your fitness requirements stretch into the wee hours, a pass can be obtained through concierge for an on-site 24 hour fitness center.
