Community Impact
Eco-luxury meets casual comfort at Lake Tahoe’s most stunning property.
The Setting
The spirit of the great American western lodges of the past is alive and well at Edgewood Tahoe. More importantly, this number one resort hotel in the U.S., as voted by Travel & Leisure World’s Best readers in 2018, is leadiing us into the future with a legacy of ecological stewardship and sustainability. For instance, Edgewood’s lake-sourced cooling system bypasses the use of electricity to cool water in the hotel, thereby reducing its carbon footprint, and that’s just...well, super cool. Thanks to these types of efforts, the surrounding majestic Sierras and crystal blue Lake Tahoe can be enjoyed by you and generations to come.
Sleep and Sanctuary
The Lodge at Edgewood is home to 154 luxurious rooms and suites, each with its own gas fireplace, private terrace, soaking tub and walk-in shower and cruelty-free products throughout. Collapse after a day on the lake or slopes onto plush beds while visions of surrounding snow-capped peaks dance in you head. You’ll surely feel the synergy of the Lodge’s natural balance as you breath in the fresh mountain air from your balcony and plan your day’s journey.
Eat. Pray. Eat.
Edgewood Tahoe’s three dining outposts offer eating and drinking adventures both casual and refined, a fitting tribute to the spirit of Lake Tahoe. The Bistro in the Lodge is your first stop on the refinement tour, offering the best in the South Shore’s fine dining scene while at the same time creating a hub of sorts for foodies, family and friends to convene. Edgewood Restaurant boasts opulent shoreline dining prepared by a masterful culinary team paired with dramatic lake views. And lastly, Brooks Bar & Deck, located just off Edgewood Golf Course’s picturesque 18th hole, re-defines pub and grub dining. In fact, it was named one of the world’s “Best Golf Pubs” by Golf Digest in 2016.” so the year is also in there.
The Bistro - a full service space for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Here, you’ll find refined seasonal fare in a casual setting. Savor bites like rustic flatbreads and sauteed farmer’s vegetable plate with brussel sprouts, heirloom beets and chickpea spread.
Edgewood Restaurant - Floor-to-ceiling windows highlight this resto where you’ll find rustic alpine cuisine (along with choice heirloom salads) paired with a diverse regional wine list and unbelievable sunsets.
Brook’s Bar & Deck - This Frank Gehry designed indoor/outdoor space offers all-day refined comfort food (including gluten-free and vegan options). Check out the loaded vegan street tacos and kick back with a local beer and take in those Sierras.
The Art of De-stressing
Spa Edgewood offers you serenity amongst the Sierras with a sprawling and peaceful atmosphere. Find your inner-zen with a relaxing crystal wellness massage with CBD infused oils or an invigorating steam while the majestic surrounding scenery inspires you.
Morning Wellness at Edgewood gets your day off to the right start with healthy offerings. Join Still Water Yoga Lake Tahoe each morning for mindful yoga on Edgwood’s stunning property, or help yourself to healthy selections from the famous Apres Sleep Cart and wellness cards with tips to keep you ready for daily adventures.
The state-of-the-art fitness center on the third floor is the ideal place for pre-lake cardio or just to refresh and replenish those muscles. Speaking of the lake, everything you could want to get out and experience is at your disposal, be that paddle boards or kayaks.
The crown jewel of the resort is the championship 18-hole Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. A course that inspires a synergistic balance between land and player. With age old pines and emerald greens offset by snow capped peaks, this is the perfect place to challenge your game and find your balance.
