ABOUT
The Setting
Just imagine yourself in beachside bliss as crystalline Gulf of Mexico waters lap against a powdery shore covered with more exotic seashells than you could count in a lifetime. This, (in a seashell) is the daily bliss found at the contemporary DiamondHead Beach Resort on Ft. Myers’ Estero Island. This Florida Green Lodging Leader offers you all the beachside amenities and unexpected adventures you could ask for on a beach vacation. Not only can you explore the waters teeming with wildlife by going on a dolphin tour, renting a jet ski, or taking a parasail ride right from our beach, you’ll discover eco-adventures at nearby nature preserves & unspoiled islands. For urban exploration, hop on the island trolley a whisk away to shopping and galleries. So come soak up some Southwest Florida sunshine, and those famous kaleidoscopic sunsets, too.
Sleep and Sanctuary
With the enticing beachfront, pool, or Gulf views, your choice of any of the spacious 121 one-bedroom suites is sure to make your stay at DiamondHead Beach Resort sublime. All of the newly renovated dwellings cater to refined beachcomber tastes with living areas, kitchenettes topped with granite counters, and walk-in rain showers. For a secluded escape, simply open the floor-to-ceiling glass doors to your private lanai and admire the tropical views at a distance.
Eat. Pray. Eat.
Just a few sandy steps from the beach or a breezy stroll from your suite and you’re in the resort’s epicenter for tropical-style feasting. Cōste Island Cuisine is a refined new dining experience where you find a fresh and unpretentious take on fine island favorites while basking in Gulf views. Cabañas Beach Bar & Grille is a long-time local favorite for toes-in-the-sand dining with a large selection of poolside beach bites and signature tropical cocktails.
