ABOUT
The Setting
Mere steps from rolling white breakers that glide onto the awe-inspiring coastline of Long Beach, WA is Adrift Boardwalk Cottages. These twelve cozy self-contained cottages nestled near the historic boardwalk have transformed into the hipper, and dare we say, Kinder, variety since falling under the stewardship of Adrift Hospitality. A female-owned and operated Social Purpose Corporation and Certified B Corp that should sound familiar to kind Travelers by now. From here, the peninsula is your oyster.
Hike to the west coast’s oldest working lighthouse at Cape Disappointment State Park, bike the 8-mile Discovery Trail, take a surfing lesson or kayak the nearby Willapa River. Feel free to make yourself at home (i.e., take a dip in a heated pool, have a bite and a craft brew, soak in a barrel sauna) at the three other sister properties on the peninsula, too.
