The eclectic and diverse Central Square in Cambridge has a new boutique darling in the ever-so-Kind, 907 Main.
COVID-19 Safety Commitment:
907 Main is adhering to the latest information, protocols and tools from the world’s leading health experts and government authorities – including the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control – to maximize its coronavirus response effectiveness. See its COVID-19 Safety Commitment.
The Setting
Cambridge, that little enclave of Boston home to a certain old liberal arts college, has always been known as a town of thinkers. Which should make the brand new 907 Main, the thinking person’s hotel. The centenarian building has been restored with a boutique hotel that pays homage to the Transcendentalist Movement, a free-thinking Renaissance spawned by the likes of Thoreau, Margaret Fuller and Ralph Waldo Emerson. This progressive attitude will make the hotel a fine addition to the richly diverse surrounding community that has been full of culture and ready for adventure. And should you need Cliff Notes, 907 Main provides guests with a curated list of museums, historical landmarks, and scenic walks for your further study.
Sleep and Sanctuary
The 67 rooms (and one sprawling penthouse) at 907 Main offer the perfect urban refuge. What they may lack in size (since the building is well over 100 years old), they more than make up for with style and modern touches. Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, Bluetooth clock and speakers, and plush slippers to go along with premium bath products. All sizes of well-behaved pets are welcome to join you. There’s a pet fee, but don’t bat an eye (or a whisker) since a portion of the fee is donated to Animal Rescue League of Boston.
Eat. Pray. Eat.
At 907 Main, eating and drinking are taken very seriously. The Dial is your go-to urban eatery capturing the essence and diversity of the surrounding neighborhood. The handsome space evokes a communal mid-century appeal while paying homage to Cambridge’s legendary music scene. Executive Chef Justin Urso brings a rich pedigree and stout local reputation to the menu of international faves served with style. To boot, there’s Blue Owl, the rooftop offshoot of the Dial with the volume turned up to 11... anyone? This industrial chic boite is pulsing with energy and boasts small street food style bites and iconic cocktails.
The Art of De-stressing
With any stay at 907 Main, you’ll find the city is your oyster. They’ve curated a collection of activities to help you explore Cambridge and the surrounding city. A Blue Bike stand is just across the street should you prefer to pedal around the town. Nearby, find the Fresh Pond Trail, a 2.5 mile lakeside hiking and jogging loop full of foliage and wildlife.
